Each year, Drillco holds a training session for its employees using Virtual Reality. This year, the theme chosen was “Emergency Response and Evacuation”. Using VR technologies of augmented reality, users were immersed in scenarios of emergency situations and were trained on how to adequately evacuate and reach safety points throughout the company’s working space. The training session was held on April 23rd, 2019, and led by the Risk Prevention area at DRILLCO® and its leader Natalhie Flores, together with the Chilean Security Association (ACHS). Overall, 58 workers were trained, a +80% increase versus the previous year.
