In its constant search for efficiency and operational improvement, Drillco has implemented the Japanese Methodology “5S” for Lean Manufacturing. This visual management system stands for Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke, which in English translates “Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain”. In a series of 4 sessions, the whole manufacturing team, under the leadership of the Operational Manager, Hector Sebastian, managed to successfully transform the organization at the facilities.
