Down The Hole Hammers and Bits Functioning and Maintenance Course

During the last week of July and first days of August, the Down The Hole Hammers and Bits Functioning and Maintenance” Course was held at Drillco’s headquarters. Eight clients from three different countries traveled to Santiago, Chile, to attend the course, which reviewed topics such as Down The Hole Hammer Functioning, Hammer and Compressor Selection, Hammer Troubleshooting, Bit Selection and Troubleshooting, Hammer Assembling, among others. The course also included practical activities, such as Vernier Measurement Exercises, Micrometer measurements and others.

During this week, the team also had time for sightseeing, visiting the iconic San Cristóbal hill and tasting local delicacies, as well as a full day at Los Andes Mountains having fun at the slopes at Farellones Ski Resort.
